The Gold Star is the model that made BSA's name, and this version reinterprets it without dressing it up: a hand-painted pinstripe on the tank, chrome side panels and a silhouette you can recognise from ten metres away. If you want a classic with presence, this is the one.
Underneath sits a 652 cc DOHC liquid-cooled single producing 45 hp at 6,500 rpm and 55 Nm at just 4,000 rpm — a low-revving engine that pulls without demanding revs. Five-speed gearbox and Brembo brakes: a 320 mm floating front disc and a 255 mm rear, both with ABS.
It rolls on 36-spoke wheels with Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp tyres and claims 4 l/100 km. Seat height stays at 780 mm, among the lowest in our range, and the bars and pegs are set for a commanding but comfortable riding position. Available in six colours.
