The Chinchilla 500 V2 is a cruiser in the fullest sense: a low line, a 180 rear tyre and a 705 mm seat, among the lowest you'll find. With a 1,550 mm wheelbase it sits planted on open roads, which is where it earns its keep.
Its 475.6 cc SOHC V-twin makes 47 hp at 9,000 rpm and 42 Nm at 7,200 rpm. Those 47 hp fall just under the A2 licence ceiling, so you can ride it without waiting for a full A.
It has an inverted fork, twin shocks with adjustable preload and disc brakes with ABS at both ends. The 16-litre tank gives more than enough range to cross the island and come back.
